The Geronimo Canoe Club was founded in 1974 by Tsartlip Nation members Ivan and Madeline Morris to support the people of W̱JOȽEȽP (Tsartlip) by coaching, mentoring, and uplifting Indigenous peoples’ original ways through their love of canoe racing. Learn more here

XAXE TEṈEW̱ Sacred Land Society focuses on the Rematriate Stewardship Project, which is an initiative for #Landback to house Saltwater Salish women to protect their right to learn their language, how to care for their land, heal through culture and being on the land, and to teach younger generations and community these skills. The Joyful Jiggers
The Joyful Jiggers, made up of Abigail Porttris and Piper Bresser, are two Métis youth who bring enthusiasm, energy, and a love of culture to every performance. Dancing since the age of four, they share Métis jigging with audiences in Greater Victoria and beyond. They are accompanied by Calvin Cairns, a joyful fiddler and longtime music teacher, and Ry Moran on guitar. Learn more here
